Smart Government II” Project aims to improve rural telecommunications and internet accessibility on pilot basis.
April 6, 2026. Under the “Smart Government II” project, World Bank Consultant conducted a field trip to Altanbulag Soum, Tuv province to experience the existing situation of rural connectivity at soum center and baghs level.
As part of this visit, meetings were held with the soum Government Office and local public organizations to exchange views on internet accessibility, effective usage, and existing challenges. In addition, the consultant reviewed the operations and infrastructure conditions of the local branch of Information and Communications Network LLC in Altanbulag soum.
The World Bank financed “Smart Government II” Project, implemented by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications aims to improve rural telecommunications and internet accessibility on pilot basis.
