Project Implementation Unit
Project Implementation Unit (PIU) is responsible for supporting and advising the Project steering committee, Implementing agency, and Beneficiary with project coordination management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, procurement and communications. PIU’s structure and composition is approved by the order of Minister of Finance with ref.no 2023/123.
PIU RESPONSIBILITIES AND ROLES:
- Support and advise the Project steering committee, Implementing agency, and Beneficiary with project coordination management, financial management, monitoring and evaluation, procurement and communications. Implement project;
- Take responsibilities in accordance with the “Smart Government II Project” financing agreement and provisions of Article 14 of Regulation on utilization of proceeds of foreign loans of the government; implementation, administering, financing, monitoring and evaluation of projects and programs funded by such proceeds (Finance Minister Resolution 2021/04).
