The Smart Government Project (2015-2022) made a comprehensive support to Mongolia’s digital development.
The Project Task Team of the World Bank met with officials of General Authority for State Registration (GASR) and discussed outcomes of the Project.
By March 31 2022, 77 registration services including 22 one-stage and 55 two-stage services are digitalized and delivered online through e-Mongolia.mn under the Smart Government Project. Citizens and businesses get these services 2 million times and saved about 30 billion tugrik from their pocket.
Mr. D.Delgersaikhan, chairman of GASR, noted that anyone from anywhere gets services regardless of their residential address. He also addressed that these digital services’ system and hardware have been strengthened, based on successes and for tis sustainability further cooperation needs towards safe storage, protection and security of those e-databases and systems.
Mrs. Jennifer Gui, World Bank Senior digital development specialist and Smart Government Project co-task team leader, express the appreciation for GASR official that their best planning, hard-work brings these benefits.
